Hi,

We're going to DLP next saturday for our first visit. We'll stay in Holiday Inn hotel. We booked online directly in the hotel web site and the tickets to the Disney parks aren't included in the reservation.

We are planning to visit the parks 3 days (from Sunday to Tuesday) and I would like your advice regarding the tickets: are there big queues to buy tickets in the park entrance ? do you know if it's possible to buy the tickets from the hotel reception ?

best regards,

If you have a disney store where you live you can get them form there ,we got a good deal 4days for the price of 3 ,it would save queuing and may save you some euros (depending on exchange) would give them a ring first

Hi stargatebarbie, I live in Lisbon, Portugal and we have a Disney Store here. I tried to buy the tickets there, but I got a strange answer: they only have adults tickets available. We're 2 adults and 2 kids. Buying adults tickets to the kids will result in a extra expense of 23 Euros.

And this is really the question: if saving the queue in DLP worths these 23 Euros...:)

You can buy tickets at your hotel, that'll save any queueing at the ticket booths. :)

If you were going for longer than three days it might have been worth considering annual passes. Perhaps for next time........;) :goodvibes

the holiday inn sells park tickets at the reception desk:thumbsup2

The fantasy Annual Pass costs approx €1 more than 3 day tickets. If you can get sponsorship you will get 10% off this and then will have it for discounts as well - as long as there are no blackout days whilst you are there. You can find a list of blackout days on DLP magic

Can you buy the annual passes before you go?

Oh and can you book room only direct with Disney? All the quotes I get are with Park Tickets and if I buy an AP then I won't need the tickets.

If yuo phone up you can get RO prices, jsut say about the passes. :-)

Its not usually possible to book room only without actually having an AP as you have to give the AP number. I know one person at least has managed to do it but that was very unusual.

You can get APs before you go but they have to be activated within a month so its not usually worth it as you are losing a month on them and leaving it very late to be able to book room only
