I mean, anything is possible! There is absolutely more of a "frenzy" about booking things; there's pent-up demand; without APs, there may be more people willing to splurge on a Halloween party to get some park hours in... I definitely think it's wise for people who know what they want and have the ability to book right away to do so! But, I also think there's good cause to reassure people who are feeling stressed.I do think Halloween Night itself could sell out by the end of the day tomorrow. A lot of people are anticipating this virtual queue now so I think more people will be buying in advance this year.
There are a lot of reasons that comparing to past years may end up to be foolish, but for reference from the superthreads here:
In 2019, tickets went on sale in April. The first date to sell out was Thursday, Sept. 26 (one of the cheapest days), and it sold out on July 15. 9/29 and 10/31 went next, selling out August 2.
In 2018 (when the party was still at DL), tickets went on sale in June. The first day to sell out was Friday, Oct. 2, and it sold out July 10. Friday, October 5 sold out on July 20. Halloween didn't sell out until 9/11.
Additionally, when DL reservations went on sale in April, opening day and DCA on Avenger's Campus opening did sell out (although it took awhile). The next days to sell out were the cheapest days available for the 1-day tiered tickets.
