I wanted to buy DVC APs before any price increase. I looked at dvcmember and couldn't find where to purchase.

Do I have to call in - or is there an online link to purchase DVC APs?

Thanks, Goldi

Click on member privileges at the top. Click on member perks then on walt disney worl resort. Then on walt disney world annual pass savinings. Then on the link to buy them.

:)This is so funny, I was wondering the same thing last night, then found my way over using the Member site. We are now the proud owners of 2 DVC annual passes!!

It wasn't the easiest online shopping I have ever done. I couldn't understand why they don't have just a direct link from the Home Page. :confused3

Hi there,

We bought our PAPs online in July last year prior to our arrival in August, mainly to avoid usual price rise at the start of August.

When we presented our confirmation at Guest Services at MK, the CM informed me that me that I needed to pay an extra $80+ due to the price hike.:confused3

Luckily I knew enough to know that once you've bought the passes online the price stands.

After he checked with another CM, he came back and stated that he would waiver the extra, as if he was doing me a favour!!:lmao:

When purchasing online, do you get the actual pass or the voucher that you need to exchange upon arrival at Walt Disney World?

When you buy online you get a voucher, which you print out. Just present this at any of the Guest Services windows at the parks or DTD, and they will print out the passes.

The passes are then valid for 365 days from that date.

Since I didn't know how the will call thing worked I paid the $5 to have them shipped... does this mean I'll get the actual pass!! I don't want the real pass since I plan to go in Sept 2011 so if I wait until I go in October to activate it I could still use it then...

What they are going to send you is an exchange voucher. You will still need to go to a guest relations location to exchange for the actual AP. With the exchange voucher you will be able to access the passholder website.
