Buying directly from Disney payment terms

I have just bought a BWV resale and passed ROFR, waiting for closing in late august since the buyer couldn't close before. Since I live in Spain, DVC can't offer me anything via phone due to some international market restrictions, but I can buy from them when I'm on vacation in Orlando.

Since we are going to Orlando in august I'd like to know in case I want to buy directly from Disney (Interested in AKV) what payment options do I have. I know I have to make a 10% deposit. And the final balance? How many days do I have to close/pay my points if I don't want to finance? 45 days? 60? 30?

If you are not financing, then you will be told when they want final payment. When we bought direct, we were putting the purchase on our Disney Visa and asked that the final payment not be billed for a month so that it would miss the statement closing date and it would give me an additional month. They set the closing of the contract for the day after I asked them to.

They had no problem doing this so I think they will work with you to delay things. Since we got 0%, 6 months using the card, we wanted to get that extra month if we could.

Thanks a lot Sandisw! Yes, I want to pay the 10% down payment over there and pay the final balance in 45 days more or less, to give me a month.

We paid they day we bought them. But as you can't until you get there. I don't see why they would have a problem waiting a month and a half. They want you to buy!
