Being quite a chocolate fan I would love to purchase some of the chocolate bars (Milka) but they would melt too quickly given the summer heat. Would having them sent directly to our hotel work? Thanks....

I'm sure it would work just fine to have them shipped to your hotel. :) Just so long as they're not crammed in your backpack in the heat. :)

I don't know the current policy, but when I tried to have a box of chocolates delivered to my hotel from AK 2 years ago, they told me that they wouldn't send food (why, I don't know)

I have an idea... just eat the chocolate right then and there... sounds like more fun to me!!! hehe!!!

DW loves Milka:D Seems like we bought them just before we departed Epcot for the day.:earsboy:

I can confirm that they won't ship anything eatable back to the room. We wanted to send my DGD's large lolipop back to the room, but they wouldn't do it. This was just last month. She ended up dropping the lolipop and it broke.

Could you maybe find those Milka bars at DTD? That might help to avoid taking them through the parks. :)

Buy them right before you leave... or bypass the Milka and go straight for the Ghirradelli store!

What is Milka? I've never heard of it and we've been at Epcot dozens of times. My DH is a chocoholic, so please do tell.

We save all candy purchases for the Disney Store at the airport. It gives us one last Disney fix before we head home and keeps the chocolate from melting by putting it in our carry-on luggage.

Milka is a brand of chocolate. Very popular in Europe, Asia, and Australia. They used to sell ONLY milk chocolate. I don't know about now.

Milka is a very popular brand of chocolate in Europe which is made in Austria. That one and "Cote d'Or" from Belgium are two of my favorites. I used to buy them in 1 kg. bricks...sheer heaven, lol.
