Buying Bare Minerals?

I posted this on the Budget Board but thought it might be better here.

Where do you shop to get your best prices on Bare Minerals? I've just started using the products (trial kit) and will need to buy replacements. Are there different sources for the makeup and brushes? I'm thinking I would like to buy the concealer brush also.

TIA!

I get all of my Bare Escentuals from QVC. They have the best prices and deals because they sell combos of different things. Just go to QVC.com and search for Bare Escentuals or go to the Beauty tab at the top.

Welcome to the club

You can also find them at Ulta. I don't know if they are a "deal" there, but that is where I bought my trial kit so that it would be easier to take back if I didn't like it.

Thanks! I got my trial kit at Ulta and it was an OK price. Their coupons and specials are not good on BE stuff.

Thanks Kim! I've heard others talking about getting BE from QVC but thought that they had to catch the TV show when it was on to order. I'll try the website!

I used to work at QVC and always ended up ordering them for my mom as gifts. It worked well for both of us- she got what she needed and I got the discount to match.

I know a few customers told me that they regularly purchased them from E-Bay... the sellers that buy in bulk and resell that supply type thing.

ETA: Are you a Terp!?! I was tyring to mess with my signature last night to include Testudo, but I couldn't find a picture small enough. Currently enrolled or alumni?

I a full 2g foundation last week on eBay for $3.75. It came on Friday and was PERFECT.

I get all my BE (except special QVC kits) at www.colorfulsprinkles.com . The owner, Corina, gives *the best* customer service, and sells samples at very reasonable prices, too (samples are nice if you want to try something without investing in the full-priced size, and still last long). If you put "SHIPBE" (no quotes) in her code box on the order form, you will get free shipping. I learned of her on a BE Addict board to which I belong, and I could not be happier with her products or service. :)

Yes UnderTheMistletoe, I'm an alumni!

Robinrs - Wow! What a deal! Good for you!

luvmydogs - a BE Addict board? Amazing!

Thanks for all of your good info!

eBay is also a great place to buy brushes for BE.

Try ebay. There's a ton of stuff. I just bought the full sized Kabuki brush for only $10 (normally $28). And I bought several eye shadow samples--cheap! They have lots of full-sized stuff too. This will be my first stop from now on.

The Sephora store also carries BE stuff. Their prices are just okay unless you are getting one of the package deals. I just saw a group package of summmer stuff and another grouping for the ages or decades. I thought that those were good prices for everything included. Though the women at the store I got to are a bunch of snots, lol.

I buy all my BM products from QVC.com. To me, there is just something creepy about buying makeup off Ebay.

I guess it could be questionable, but if you pay attention to feedback you should be pretty safe.

Oh I totally agree. It's just icky to me.

I wonder how the ebay sellers get their BE stuff? Do you think they buy a kit and sell off what they don't want. If so, that would be OK.

I would hope that no one would be selling used makeup! Yuck!

Thanks for everyone's info! I'll be getting some refills soon!

Thanks luvmydogs! I will try out that site. I have wanted to try BE, but have been afraid to. I will order some of the samples and see how it goes.

Thanks:thumbsup2

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Corina--I talk her up whenever I can! :) She sells many differnet colors and products that you can't get at other sites, and her samples can't be beat if you just want to give an unfamiliar product a try without committing. And don't forget the "SHIPBE" (no quotes) free shipping code.

Enjoy! :sunny:
