There is something about seeing that we have 950 AUL points…. it makes me want to spend the whole month of Feb there…. and then my wife brings up that her parents wouldn’t mind going back with us again if we can get on the new Hawaiian Airlines Boeing Dreamliner planes that have pods in first class…..the year after my Mom and Aunt are going to travel with us….

I was offered the December one for $113pp and I passed. September is not my UY. Still feel they are slightly overpriced for that size of contract.
The 710 point monster? I saw that. That might sit awhile lol.
The 600+ pointer (DEC UY) sold within 24 hours.

I think those large point contracts can be kind of a trap. They look like good buys because they have to be so heavily discounted to sell. But the buyer might have to discount them even further down the line and sell at a loss if they ever decide to sell, because they’re so difficult to unload. And you can’t ever retain points if you have just one enormous contract, but want to cut back your DVC holdings and not get rid of them entirely.
I've been looking for a September contract, kind of casually, but that is waaaaaay too many points for me to digest. I bought 485 CCV/SSR earlier this year and am realizing that is actually a whole lot given that I am using mostly studios. It will be interesting to see how long it takes to sell.I would love to have 710 points with double points for this year
Yes..will be interesting. My bet would be sometime in 2025. I actually think buying a contract that huge is a bit of a newbie mistake. Maybe it’s a misperception on my part, but it seems like many of those large contract buyers are first time DVC owners who don’t consider any sort of an exit strategy.
