Buying and financing DVC resale..lessons learned & who NOT to use

I'm sorry for your experience with timesharelending. But I have to say I have happily used them for resale financing and had zero issues. More importantly, I guess, is that based on my own experience I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Congratulations on your new contract.

I'm very happy you had a good experience with them, but I certainly did not! From the very first conversation she was quick, belittling and impatient and only got worse from there. Since they have been in business for many years, I'm certain there are others that had different experiences, but from what I've seen personally, and heard from almost every other person who have had dealings with her, you are the exception.

In all honesty, there isn't an instance in which I would recommend this company to anyone. The absolute WORST experience I have had with any vendor in recent memory.

I don't believe it was mentioned here but of the 3, light stream is usually the cheapest.
I did check with LightStream (online only) and they had comparable rates. However, since I plan to pay this off within a year, I chose not to have a hard inquiry on my credit report. I never had any dealings with anyone there, but have heard positive things about them as well.

Another good financing source is Lightstream - 6% rates on 36 months and no fees. Relatively easy application with a few documentation items. You may need to document assets to get that lower rate. (401k statement or bank accounts)
