I was wondering if we'd have enough paper supplies for four people five mornings for breakfast in a studio or should I buy a plastic picnic set or something? Aren't paper bowls in there, too?
Or can I just call for more if I need them? Will they charge me?
Thanks!

We NEVER have enough paper plates, bowls and plasticeware in the studio, but we just call down to Mousekeeping for "extra" and they deliver them prompty. NO CHARGE! No need to bring your own!!! Besides, cereal from a Mickey Bowl just tastes better!

LOL. :teeth:

Must be why that bran stuff I had this morning tasted like hay and why the coffee tastes so good in a Mickey Cup.

Note to self: Buy Mickey Bowl next time at WDW to bring home.

We are from Oregon and try to recycle EVERYTHING. I think the paper plates, etc is such a waste of money!!! They could provide pastic picnic ware and save money.

Anyway, I just purchased from our local Dollar Tree plastic (picnic ware) plates, bowls and silverware. They were grouped in sets of 4 for $1.00 (cost me $3.00). We can wash and reuse. They are sturdier than the paper plates too. If I forget to pack them back home no big deal!

Last week I brought with me a plastic set I picked up at CVS. The pieces were 3 for $1. Can't beat that! They were terrific to have. Only problem was that the plate wasn't microwave safe. I did buy Ziploc containers for any heating I needed to do though.

I also brought a cheap set of utensils with me too.

I rewash the plastic silverware and chuck it at the end of the stay since it holds up really good. I have several of those Healthy Choice frozen dinner bowls and plates that I have saved just to bring "home". They nest real good for travel and they are good for the microwave. And as someone else pointed out if you forget it, have too much stuff to bring home you can chuck it, or something happens to it no big deal.

I agree about the waste and recycle everything too. The problem I think of why they don't give real dishes is the studios do not have dishwashers and I suspect most people would leave a mess and not clean up. We seldom use anything more than a few pieces of silverware.
