Does anyone know if/where I can buy this type of candy at a b&M store. I can find them online, but do not really want to spend $25 (candy plus shipping). I am making valentines for my kids using them. Thanks!!
Yes, I am making the cell phones. They do not look difficult--but I am finding it really hard to find the candy. I have looked at 2 grocery stores, Wal-mart and Target. Maybe I will tell my DH to go to a Craker Barrel for dinner while he is on his next business trip. Thanks for the replies!!
They usually carry them at the sweet factory (or whatever the name of the candy store in the mall is). They sell them in strips in one of the bins with the bulk candy.
Meijer (I dont know where you are) has a retro candy section at an end cap. They sell them on there. DD was looking at them, I explained how you end up eating paper!
Oh! Those cell phone valentines are soooo cute! I was telling a friend about them the other day. It's certainly a craft that I plan on doing when my kids are a bit older.
I have been to the Dollar Store--I was certain that I had seen them there--but they did not have any. I am going to try CVS and Walgreens in the morning. Thanks everyone!!

If you can't find them .. I work for a Cracker Barrel, can buy them with my discount, and drop them in the mail for you. Wouldn't be a problem, since I have to go in there to work anyway.
You can find them in most stores that have the rack with the candy bags that are 2 for 1.00. I think even blockbuster has them. they come in the hanging bags...
