Butterfinger muffins

We got these when we went in Dec. We got there mid day just before they closed and got what they had left. We sat outside and watched alot of ppl get upset because they didn't know they close about 4pm. There are 6 of us and we each had our own. I think DH was the only 1 that finished his. Here are some pic of what we had. We are also planning on going for an early lunch when we are there in Aug.

Does the Choc peanut butter cupcake have peanut butter frosting? Can't make up my mind on which one I want......I might just have to get 2 or 3 different ones. :lmao:

It's actually a cupcake from Starring rolls bakery in DHS(although they can be eaten for breakfast). I had a cupcake from the same case, but it had white chocolate shavings instead. I could only eat half of it as it was HUGE and sweet.

Must say, I love the "although they can be eaten for breakfast part." As in, "don't worry if it is mounded in cream and candy. It will keep you goin' all day! It's the breakfast of champions!" Just love it!:goodvibes

Don't shoot me but we tried one last time we were there after hearing about it here. It was too cold and very hard to get a knife or fork into it. The cake wasn't moist and the all the icing made it so sweet that I couldn't even taste the butterfinger which is one of my fave candies! :( I was disappointed.

I'm not sure but there may have been melted chocolate inside.

You are correct. I don't know if it is a ganache or something else. When we had ours, it was pretty cold (like a PP mentioned) so that chocolate middle was pretty firm.

I have a huge sweet tooth. But DH and I split it one morning and it was yummy yummy, we both love butterfingers so it was a must on our list!!!

O.M.G. This cupcake was extraordinary. DH and I had it packed to go. We each had quarters on two separate days. (Though, I would have fought him for his quarter had the children not been watching).

Yum I ate one just a few weeks ago with my Mom. We went to Starring Rolls for lunch, and we split a turkey sandwich, BUT each got our own cupcake! My gawd it was heaven. My mom had the White Chocolate ( she ate the whole thing) I had the Butterfinger ( I ate half) I wasn't sick at all from it, but I threw in the towel at just the right time. Starring Rolls is now my must do lunch at DHS

I picked one up the day before the marathon back in January figuring I'd be able to justify eating the whole thing after running 26.2 miles, but I only got through 1/4 maybe. It was good, but I don't know if it was the cupcake itself or an upset tummy from the run that I didn't get to enjoy it that much.

I'm looking forward to picking up the marble and the while chocolate elephant (from AK) in July. I didn't notice the butterfinger flavoring that much but I did prefer it to the choc. peanut butter that I also tried (bought for DF but he wasn't in the mood either)

Thanks for the great pictures. I am going in June and will definitely have to try this. It looks delicious!!!
