"But Mom, I want to come back to WDW!"

That Goofster is a Wiz with the pictures.

Goof, if I send you a picture of my family can you remove the tattoos, headbands, and biker clothes?

No Wiz, just lucky

I have absolutely no Photo Shop skills at all; I don’t have the patience for it.
Photo Shop for Dummies didn’t even help. :confused3

Hi there! Nice of you to stop by :)

PEI is a beautiful spot but I'll take WDW over it in a heartbeat. The temperatures are a little coolish for my liking. I think DH wore his coat most of the trip. I remember the four of us at the beach, the girls and I in our bathing suits and hubby sitting there with his jean jacket on. :rotfl2:

WOW, that is breathtaking, please tell me this is what you see while relaxing on your back porch.

Thanks Goofster. It is what we see while relaxing on our porch and it is breathtaking BUT...there is always a but...it is a very cold spot here during January and February when the wind whips across the river. I don't stop complaining and I don't come out of hibernation until March arrives.

You'll start to notice I'm online less and less as summer approaches. Another reason why I have to speed up my installments.

I would probably do ok, the colder the better for me. When I attended college in Texas and we had snow storms I would walk to classes in shorts and a t-shirt, everyone would just shake their heads and say there goes that nut from California.

Okay this is too funny this smile reminds me of a story my dad tells about when he was a kid and got his tongue stuck to the water pump one winter.
I guess that is were I get it from

That's just not right Goofster. You are a nut :rotfl2:

I remember a boy doing this on the bus window when I was in public school. He pulled it off and ripped his tongue...it was bleeding all over. :lmao: Boys will be boys. :sad2:

Day 5 - Part 3

Our reservation for Hoop-Dee-Doo was for the 7:15 show and we thought that by leaving at 5:00 it would give us plenty of time to do a little sight seeing and of course more shopping.

We took a bus to Epcot and then caught the next bus heading for Fort Wilderness. When we got off the bus, it was spitting outside and we had to be careful where we stepped, as the ground was muddy with pools of puddles scattered around the property. This place was huge and we had no idea where Pioneer Hall was located.

Goofy forcing a smile here

It seemed we weren’t the only ones looking around like a bunch of lost stooges. So, like we always do in these kinds of situations, we followed a small crowd heading towards the nearest building. This tactic seems to work most times because there are usually at least one or two people who know where they are going.

As it turns out, the crowd we followed was just as lost as we were. They proceeded to get instructions from a CM on how to get to Pioneer Hall. We had to go back to the bus stop and catch yet another bus. I hadn’t realized just how big Fort Wilderness was until this moment. If we didn't live so far away from WDW, this would be the perfect place to go camping.

By the time we reached our destination, we had an hour to spare so we wandered towards the water the check out the marina. The rain tapered off a bit, but still no blue sky in sight. We strolled along the beach looking at the mouse boats. Prince Grumpy told me he would like to rent the boats on our next trip. Woohoo – he said “next trip”. I smiled up at him. Sure, we can do anything you like as long as it means we’re coming back I thought to myself.

We made our way to the dock, while the girls busied themselves with the ducks that seemed to be following them around. They have fishing boats as well as pontoon boats for rent and after checking out the cost, we discovered it wasn’t as expensive as we had imagined it to be. However, DH would much prefer the mouse boats. He has this need for speed thing.

Prince Grumpy and I walked back to check on the girls and this is what happened next:

Goofy: Guess what’s in my hands?

Whenever I hear that question coming from my DD’s, it’s something I definitely don’t want to know. She started to giggle and opened her hand to show me graham crackers. At first I was puzzled until it dawned on me that she was using the crackers to feed the ducks.

Me: Hey, the sign says not to feed the animals.

Why is it that my DD’s cannot seem to follow simple rules? I guess they come by that naturally from their father. Of course DH was taking their picture, telling them to get closer instead of asking them to stop feeding the ducks.

Me: It’s a wonder why I don’t have any grey hair.

Goofy: How come Dad has so much grey hair?

Prince Grumpy: (snarling) Every time you two do something wrong, I get one new one.

JoJo: (laughing) Dad, you must have been a very bad child then, because Poppy’s hair is ALL white!

I roared at this, walked away and headed towards the gift shop because I didn’t want to be a part of their wrong doings.

Coming Up: Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue

Cool, a new installment to read this morning

This place was huge and we had no idea where Pioneer Hall was located.

We did the Hoop-Dee-Do back in 1987 and had the same issues, it was our first trip to the World and we had no idea what we were doing. We really enjoyed the show and food. Remembering that and all of Buzz’s talk about KFC, I want some Fried Chicken.

Woohoo – he said “next trip”. I smiled up at him. Sure, we can do anything you like as long as it means we’re coming back I thought to myself.
:thumbsup2 :dance3:

I am so renting a boat next time for a cruise around Bay Lake

Goofy: Guess what’s in my hands?
  :scared1:

Me: Hey, the sign says not to feed the animals.

Why is it that my DD’s cannot seem to follow simple rules?

I find it very hard to follow this rule myself. I take a zip-lock bag full of Cheerios with me when we go to Disneyland to feed the ducks on the Rivers of America. Disneyland doesn’t have any signs about not feeding the ducks.

Me: It’s a wonder why I don’t have any grey hair.

Goofy: How come Dad has so much grey hair?

I used to have grey hair; no it’s just pretty much gone.

Another great up-date Blue

That picture of Buzz the Biker had me laughing so hard I was choking!! One time (a long time ago) he dressed up for Halloween and had this long black wig hard rocker and he tried it on for me. He came downstairs with his business, conservative clothes on, conservative glasses on and this rocker wig. Buzz the Business Man Rock Star. I laughed so freaking hard-it just wasn't Buzz. :confused3

Thanks for the duck warning. I'm getting used to them, as long as they leave me alone. As I was reading through your last installment and read about how the ducks were following your girls, I immediately thought, "I bet they were feeding them!!" :) Do that and they never leave!! I love the picture of your area with the water-that is beautiful!!

The Disney squirrels- if they leave me alone I'm fine. Last fall, I was sitting on the water at DTD waiting for Buzz to bring me my margarita. The kids were eating McDonald's food and this squirrel came sneaking up. The darn little thing-he kept watching our table and I just knew he was going to jump on it so I gave him my evilest eye, stared him down and (didn't realize I'd said it out loud,) but I said, "Don't even think about it Buddy!!" The guy at the next table cracked up laughing b/c I was talking to squirrels, but evidently it worked b/c the squirrel jumped on HIS table instead, scared the guy so bad he jumped up and nearly knocked his drink over. Score one for Lin, Zero for the squirrel and fella next to me.

Gray hair-I've got tons of it. I usually wear my hair up in a knot on my head and at dinner this last trip, Buzz pointed out how the hair in my knot is blond, but the stuff closest to my scalp is white. Uh, yeah, that's b/c the blond stuff is dyed and I need to dye the roots! ....Nice of him to point it out though...

I love that, "Guess what's in my hand!" Too funny! As you can guess, Buzz doesn't follow the rules either. That's probably the reason for all my white hair-I get so worked up and scared when we're breaking rules I nearly have a heart attack!

Nice TR mom. keep it coming. you need to ignore the "don't feed the animla signs" though. if we listened to that. then you wouldn't have these great pictures of us and something interesting to write about in this TR. AND don't blame thoughs Grey hairs on us kids. you know there from getting old. :lmao:

Linne, i don't know why you're scared pf the ducks. They won't hurt you. But we grew up with animals so i guess that's why we're not affraid of them.

Goofster:nice picture of the lizard.

I have seen you posting all over the DisBoards, and what do my eyes see? A TR by "Blue" (as everyone calls you). I had to check it out. I just got caught up, seeing that I just noticed your TR a few days ago. (I have also enjoyed reading the banter between you and Goofster on his TR, very funny!! :lmao: )

I love to read about Disney trips and how quickly & easily we all become addicted to Disney. The best addiction with no cure.

Thank you for sharing and I hope you are able to get back to WDW real soon.

BTW - I love the pictures of the coyotes in you backyard. They are beautiful animals (from afar of course).

ok... I am on page 14 of your report right now and it is FANTASTIC :cool1: :cool1: .... I joined disboards in January and I started to your report then but did not know how to find threads.... No -- really -- I know how to use a computer... :rotfl2:
JoJo reminds me so much of myself when I was a teenager...Although -- I have always --- and I mean Always picked Disney over ANY other trip   -- But to be a teenager -- hee hee
I cannot wait to read the rest of the report. I started a pre -trippie for my July trip with my cousins (taking a 14 and 18 year old for the first time) -- although definitely not as creative as you -- i am learning some valuable writing skills here -- :dance3: :dance3:
