We proceeded to the security area and each walked through the alarm thing. (I don't remember what it is called) I have a rod fused to my spine and I had called customs the week before to find out if I needed anything special in case the alarm sounds off. I was told to mention it to the security agent who may pull me aside and perform a pat down on me. Oh dear. Before I went through I told her and she said that it was okay and to come ahead through. Nothing, no sound, no alarms.

I have a rod in my back too! I also never had any problems going through security....but you know after going through one for two trips -- I still had the fear that I was going to set off the alarms during my trip just last week.

This sounds great! I am new here well fairly new, I have not been on the boards since May 2006. I am planning my first week long trip to WDW with my DH and my 2 DD's who are 4 & 6 yrs old. I have been glued to your report, sounds great.

I can't wait to go! We go for a week in may. The day after school lets outs before the biggest crowds get there. We only live an hour and a half away from WDW. The girls have never been. I have lots of questions????

Did you hop on the discount for your May trip? Free park hopping and free water parks and more is a great deal that I wish I could take advantage of, but we're still saving before our next trip.

I bought one Annual Florida resident pass and 3 FL res. season passes. This way I can go back whenever, park hop, and free park. Good advantages to AP's.

Although I am sad and a little afraid My trip might be ruined. MOst who live in Florida know it is becoming increasingly difficult to own a home in Florida. Today I just received my new mortgage statment in the mail . My payment is going up by $512 a month to a total of $1554.31. Tell me who in the world can afFord that with two small kids and pay childcare, car paymnet, etc... Taxes and insurance are ridiculous. Money I have been saving for the trip may have to be used on the mortgage by paying my escrow shortage, which will bring me down to $1246.97, which is more tolerable, but still ridiculous .

Everyone just pray it works out by May. My kids are looking foward to this trip. So, am I. At least I already have the tickets, but I was hoping to have the room paid for too, and just have to buy the food while there.

Sorry I know this is a Disney posting place, but I just had to vent awhile, maybe someone has a creative solution to help me get to Disney without problems.

Hmmm, I'm not sure that's always a good thing (being so grown up).

I miss my baby girls and their babyish ways.

Try not to rush through life wishing they were older...because it will happen...and when it does...you'll miss it.

I'm sorry to hear about your mortgage payments going up so much!

That has got to hurt and I know what you mean about the cost of living.

Thinking back to the days when my girls were in daycare, I don't know why I even bothered working. By the time I paid for my gas, parking and daycare, half of my pay was already gone. Not only that, my place of employment was an hour away which meant another two hours taken away from the time I could have spent with them.

I am praying that it will work out for you and that you'll have a wonderful time without having to worry about the money.

Woohoo...now I'm converting a WDW regular!!!!

Yes, Oreo was alone with Mitten and she does sit outside her cage. She reaches in at her with her paws to try and claw at the poor little bunny.

Oreo is one mean cat I tell you (EVIL is the word that comes to mind) and she only likes JoJo.

I doubt we'll ever be cat or dog free - we love pets too much.

and heck think about it. if you were a cat and you saw a yummy rabbit running about in a cage easy to get to.wouldnt you question if you could get at it and try? just like those hunters here- "ohh the geese. lets try and shoot them..." cat- "ohhhh the bunny. let me try and paw at her"

you just ahve to know when to take her side. oreo is very loveable and i enjoy having her with me. yes,she'll attack you. only if you bug. and if she does attack for nothing. it's only cuz she hates you. hahaa. shes my little baby. =]
i'll put a picof her and i soon mom.

-also yes im gorwn up im just about 16. soon to drive. soon to go to mexico.soon to move into a trailer with jess. but goofy on the other hand. well she'll have to be a little nicer to oreo and maybe get in some anger manegment classes and wait like 10 years.. then maybe she'll be grown up. but for now. she's a suck.

Our cat Indy used to chase us back to bed if we got up in the middle of the night. He was evil also. Is Oreo black and white? Indy was black and white and we asked the vet about his evilness and the vet told us that black and white cats have a higher probability of being a tad on the "whacky" side than other cats.

Blue, we're going back March 10-17. I feel another "Man" report brewing. Probably not "live" this time though. That is just way too hard.

Hi Blue! I'm sorry I haven't been around lately! I have not been feeling well... Ongoing issues, going in for tests next week. Taking Trey to new doctors... My goal for 2007 is to take care of medical issues instead of letting them pile up like this... It all keeps me busy and Buzz keeps asking me, "Have you read Blue's trip report???" So I finally got caught up!

Fantasmic is awesome-your pictures are incredible! I've only seen it once and that was 7 years ago. I need to see it again.

Buzz planned an "impromptu, quick trip" for a week in March. Believe it or not, Trey does NOT want to go. He wants to go to school to "see his friends." (He even emphasized the word 'friends' for me in case I misunderstood him.) And this child came from us??? Sheesh. I think he'll be excited when the time comes, if not and our trip is a disaster, well, lesson learned on the impromptu quick trip experiment.

I would be the same as you with the water fight! I don't like to anger those around me. Buzz wants to sneak into the DVC pools when we go in March (we wont' be using our DVC) and I was horrified! I could not do that!
