This is why I love disboards - verification that I am not the only one dealing w/ some Disney related issue - I'm getting a busy signal as well. Now that the section I need is closed, however, I can get right through.
I tried this morning and kept getting a busy signal, too. Then when I did get through, it said my estimated wait time was more than 15 minutes! What!? So I hung up. Luckily I was able to get what I needed from the website.
I tried around 3:30 and after about 5 minutes of hitting the redial button, I got through. After that I'd say I waited no more than 30 minutes. Since it was a choice between sitting here surfing the net and listenting to Xmas carols while on hold, or going outside shoveling the first 8 inches of snow of a predicted 15 inches in total, I was actually pretty happy just sitting here.
I'm just glad I have a computer with internet access at home. I feel bad for folks who don't have either and rely on the phone line. This is not acceptable. Our dues pay for us to have access to MS during their business hours. A busy signal is not access. I would rather wait an hour than not be able to get in at all.
