Hi! We are going to be taking our 14 month old on her 3rd trip to Disney soon (yeah!!) And I wanted to create a "busy bag" to keep her occupied on the plane (we will also be brining a portable DVD player, but I'm not sure if she'll cooperate w/ the headphones - we'll try them out sooner to the trip). We've bought her a seat and plan on bringing her carseat on the plane.

So... any great ideas of things for her busy bag?? She is starting to be interested a bit in stickers, but still is eating crayons (maybe in 6 weeks she will start to get it!) Any great Disney board books you can think of?? All of her other toys are too big to bring on the plane!

Thanks!

Stickers are great and my dd's liked the sticker books they sell for putting the stickers in because of the material you can peel the stickers off and move them around. Of course they are fun to put on yourself, your seat and your mom too. My youngest once played with a roll of scotch tape for an entire flight - no kidding. My girls also loved colorforms - do they still make those? Try color wonder, they are crayons, markers or paint that only work on the color wonder paper.

Prior to her last trip my sil went to both Burger King and McDonalds and asked to buy the toddler toys as they have some great things. One charged her a very small fee for a whole bunch and the other chain just gave her some - can't remember which did what! She also got a travel magnadoodle and a travel see and say from wallmart.

I recently saw toddler headphones in the fisher price section of either wallmart or target. I was looking at them for my nephew and they looked to be smaller and more comfortable for younger kids but they were pricey.

We didn't have a dvd when my kids were small so dh and I used to read favorite books on casettes and bring a portable cassette player.

I suggest a sippie cup or bottle to help with the ears and to keep hydrated. If you allow them for her try some fruit chews - gerber graduates make some toddler friendly ones. The chew and swallow will help the ears. Try and avoid dairy, it won't make her sick but if she does feel ill you won't want her to have had dairy, yech.

HTH have a great trip.
