Ok I am being tempted by a friend with the 2008 Transit cruise through the canal.

But its a 2-3 week trip there, and I run my own law office, so I can't just skip out on work totally.

So I wondered what kind of internet/cell phone/business services they have aboard so I could keep in touch with my work as needed

Internet works fine, cell phones (Cingular worked fine in Mexico) but DH had to use satellite phone at sea and other places. Not a cheap proposition and calls to stateroom cost the caller about $7.00 a minute.
