1. Why is it that when special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald (who is no supporter of the GWB White House) says there's no eviedence to convict Karl Rove, it's Republicans protecting the Rich and Corupt? When did the Democrat party and it's members become poor and powerless? Has anyone told Ted Kennedy or John Kerry that they are supposed to be poor?
So, are you seriously going to argue that the Estate Tax repeal is a benefit to the middle class?

Besides, my comment of "protecting the rich and powerful" was more towards the party as a whole, not just the Rove thing. Still, you aren't naive enough to think that "
Scooter" was acting without any advice from the White House' chief political advisor, are you?

2. Yet when numerous members of the Clinton White House were being investigated, it was a witch hunt, a waste of tax payers money, etc, etc?
And so it proved. A
colossal waste of money with no convictions and only one trumped up charge that never would have stood up in an actual court (rather than the kangaroo court of the House...and it couldn't even stand up there). Yet now some Republicans are whining that it's the
Democrats who are trying to criminalize politics.

3. How come President Bush is/was a coward for (see quote below)
Hmmm...had his daddy get him into the national guard NOT because he objected to the war, but because he didn't want to go fight in it. Gee...what could be cowardly about that?

4.Yet Bill Clinton was a Political activist for going to Oxford to study and protest the war in Vietnam? Hmmm.. if I didn't know better I would swear that there is a double standard in place. Nah... no way, couldn't be.
(IMO, neither one of them has a stellar record during the war, unlike my father who served until the end and had put in over 25 years in the military) Sorry to get off topic there and back to my questions.
Clinton was against the war and said so from the start. To know if he was being cowardly, you would have to know his motivations for protesting. Since I kinda doubt you're a mind-reader any more than the rest of us are, it's just partisan nonsense to say that Clinton was behaving in a cowardly way.

5. How come when the GWB goes to Iraq it's a photo op and a political stunt? Yet if Hillary Clinton or another Democrat front runner was to go to Iraq to just visit during the up comming elections, it's because they care?
Gee...I can't imagine why people would be skeptical.

6. My last question. Why can't some be happy that there might be a chance that this trip could be the begining to the Iraq people taking charge of their own destiny? I would love to see the troops come home from Iraq and see that nation succeed. I have no ties to any religion in general, but I will admit that I'm praying that Iraq and it's people make it out on top. I want this war to end more than just about anyone here and I really do hope that this suprise trip is the start of something good. Can't we all be together in that?
I would
love to see Iraq manage to work out it's problems. I'm just realistic enough not to expect that to happen. If you knew anything about the region, you'd know why that is.
