Bush makes surprise visit to Iraq

I think it is wonderful he is over there to give encouragement to the government. Hey, no charges for Rove! It's a GREAT day. :thumbsup2

Good for him. I've always felt that he is more concerned about doing what he feels is right than doing what others want him to do. I like that about him or anyone!

Yeah...it's wonderful when someone gets away with a crime.

Hmmm...how about, "That's the closest he's been to a war zone since he was defending Texas from the VietCong."

Wouldn't want to disappoint my fans. ;)

Anyone remember when President Bush first went to Iraq for Thanksgiving in 2003? Just like his dad did in the first Gulf War...DH got to meet President Bush Sr. then and spend Thanksgiving with him and his wife, Barbara.

I think its great that he went again!

Just had to share! :goodvibes

Maybe our country will run better with Bush over there. No, wait. We still have both houses of congress run by the Conservatives.

What? No trial? No jury? No conviction? And he's guilty? How very un Democrat(ic).

The Republican Party, ladies and gentlemen...Protectors of the rights of the rich and powerful, no matter how corrupt. :rotfl2:

What? There are NO rich powerful uncorrupt Democrats and they're willing to toss their own under the bus when they've been caught doing something questionable (or even illegal)?

That's it, I'm switching. Move over friend.

That's ok with me because at least he was in the service. Unlike Clinton who wasn't defending anyone from Arkansas.

I wonder how much man power will be diverted from fighting the insurgency to insure Bush's protection during his visit? It could be quite an expensive media stunt.

I'll take Bill Clinton as President any day over the imbecile we have in the White House now.

IMHO, it's worth the money if it makes the troops feel good! :goodvibes

My DH LOVED seeing and meeting Bush Sr. It was a BIG boost to their moral.
