Hi, I was wondering if there are buses that go from park to park. It would be great if we could go from AK to MK without having to switch buses somewhere.
Yep, busses go park-to-park, resort-to-park and vice versa, just not resort to resort. I believe the exceptions are MGM to Epcot and back because boats run between the two and they are close enough to walk, plus the 'Epcot Cluster' resorts have no busses to MGM or Epcot for the same reasons. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about that last part.
My problem was trying to go from one of the parks directly to DTD. It took me nearly an hour and half! I took a monorail from Epcot to the TTC, then the monorail to a MK resort (where I then had to wait for a bus to DTD). I nearly gave up! Wish I had just grabbed a cab at Epcot to DTD, but didn't want to pay the $12-15 one-way fare they quoted.
Why don't they dedicate one bus per park to go to DTD? Grrr.

Too many people were parking at DTD and riding the buses to the parks to get out of paying the parking fee!
There is no bus going from the Magic Kingdom to Epcot, you have to ride the boat or monorail to the ticket and transportation center then monorail to Epcot.

Thanks for all of the info. We were trying to get from AK to MK, its good to know that it is going to take extra time because we have to go to the TTC first.
The fastest and easiest way to get to the MK from any other park is to take a bus to any of the MK resorts. If you get off at the Contemporary you can take the seven minute walk right to the MK entrance. The CR bus station is to the side of the resort main entrance. Just start walking with the CR behind you and you will be a the MK in no time. If you get off at the Poly or Grand Floridian just hop on the monorail.
