busch gardens with discovery cove??

We have booked our DC tickets for halloween!!
I have a couple of questions that hopfully someone out there can answer!
1. Do DC do anything different on halloween?
2. We have BG tickets with DC are they valid for 7 days from first day of use, we are going to clearwater the following week & would like to use BG then, but someone has told me they think they have to be used 7 days from date we go to DC!!

You may want to check the discovery cove web site. I was thinking they had increased the amount of time you could go to either BG or SW. I think the increase was new in 2006, but could be wrong.

I recently asked this question of Discovery Cove directly - this is their response:

Thank you for contacting Discovery Cove. We always enjoy hearing from our guests, especially when we can be of assistance in planning their day.

You may visit the other park prior to your Discovery Cove visit as long as it is within 7 days of your visit to Discovery Cove. To enter Busch Gardens prior to coming to Discovery Cove, you will need to take your confirmation letter along with a photo ID for each member of your party to the Guest Services window at the entrance to the park. They will issue a ticket for you.

In short, as long as you're visiting BG no more than 7 days before DC, you're ok!
