For families planning on going to BG this month have a little news to share. This coming weekend 4/23 & 4/24 @ 3:30 Tracy Byrd will be in concert in Gwazi Park. On 4/30 & 5/1 @ 4:00 Jo Dee Messina will be performing. Yesterday we attended Mark Wills concert and he did a great job. These concerts are free so take advantage. Before Mark began, they gave a demo of their new thrill roller coaster "Sheikra" - without passengers. When it reaches the top of the lift hill and ready to go straight down in a 90 degree angle, it just hangs for about 10 seconds before the drop. People in front row will get quite a thrill. Like everything else these days....official opening in May and I don't know a thing about soft openings, but I sort of doubt it.
Also, construction on McKinley Ave. is completed and they have changed the extrance and exits completely. People are having hard time adjusting, but in time it will come around I hope. I sent an e-mail to them with my suggestions.
