Busch Gardens in the rain...here now

We are suppose to drive to BG tomorrow, it is suppose to be raining heavy. Will everything be closed, should we even bother driving the hour drive from Orlando?

Almost everything is outside and is closed when it rains.

Have been there during bad thunderstorm and they have a sound track they play during the storm. LOL Light rain they play " Singing in the Rain" , then songs like Stormy Weather, and even one that tells you to get out of the lightning and stay indoors. Lightning hit the coaster lightning rods several times and was very loud and scary. Even the train stopped and had everyone get off. First we were just under the wooden porch of the train station, but then they had us squeeze into the station itself because the lightning was hitting so close.

Once the storm passed everything opened again, but today it will be rainy most of the day because of TS Andrea. I would schedule for another day if thinking about going to Tampa today. If already there check out the Children's Museum which is in that area on Fowler if I remember correctly- sort of close to the University. It is a cool place.

MOSI is by Busch Gardens and very child friendly. The Children's Museum is downtown Tampa.

We did SW again yesterday, we are going to just hang out today in Orlando, and try to do BG tomorrow (Fri) I had planned on 2 days at BG, but that's okay, hopefully tomorrow will be nicer.

Its just me, DH and DS and we don't do the big coasters, so I do feel like we can do everything we want. Should we make sure that BG will be open tomorrow before we drive down, I didn't know if they might close, does it flood there? They keep talking about flooding in Tampa on the Weather Channel.

Tink20, my girlfriend and I are at the renaissance Marriott seaworld and are going to make the trip to Busch Gardens tomorrow. We are going to chance it and hope for the best in terms of weather. We have reservations at Berns tomorrow evening regardless but here's hoping for an okay day for both of us at Busch gardens!

Make sure to gobo the your of the kitchen and the desert room is a must!
