Planning our summer vacation for 4 days at busch gardens and 3 days at virginia beach.

Any suggestions on reasonably priced, CLEAN hotels in both areas. I've been looking on line but pictures can be decieving.

THanks

I've never been there. Just bumping you up.

Not sure about hotels, because we live near Williamsburg, but if you're going to be there 4 days, make sure you go to Water Country USA too! It's a lot of fun. BG-Wmsbg is an absolutely beautiful park - we get season's passes every year. Have fun!

We usually try to stay at the Springhill Suites by Marriott. In fact, we are going there next month and are paying $93 a night, which includes breakfast. (This was a AAA rate.) The summer months will probably cost you more money, but it's a nice hotel and it's right on Rt. 64 (Richmond Road). Also there is a Hilton Garden Inn right next door, which my sister stayed at and she said that was nice too.

I can't help you with Virginia Beach, we've never been there.

Have a great vacation:D

We went to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens last April. We have a pop up camper and stayed at the KOA. It was very nice. Have you ever stayed in a camping cabin or cottage at a KOA? (Just a thought.)

Busch Gardens was great. Lots of rollercoasters and thrill rides. Clean and beautifully landscaped. You can usually find discounts for BG on soda cans or in tourist mags. Have fun.

We live close to both and go to both pretty frequently.

Which hotels in Va Beach are you looking at? I have been to many in that area. Haven't stayed at a hotel in Williamsburg though.

Thanks everyone--great websites Robin Marie

Pooh girl--I really dont know of any hotels for Virginia Beach--we would like something on the beach if it is reasonably priced--or atleast a block away. What other things are there to do at VA beach other than the beach? Mini golf is also a favorite.

There are quite a few miniature golf places along the oceanfront, in fact try www.hamptonroads.com for a whole boatload of information.
To narrow your search down, just type 'hotels' in the SEARCH field of the website. It will come up with about 70 or so selections.

I lived there for a while, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask!!

We will be there over spring break. We are staying in the Residence Inn by Marriott. It is right across from Springhill Suites. They have a full hot breakfast in the mornings with make your own waffles and in the afternoons on Mondays-Thursdays they have snacks. We love it. We have stayed there several times. We have also stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton. It was nice because it was within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg. There is also a Hampton Inn within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg. We haven't stayed there but it looks nice. Hope this helps.

There is also a Days Inn near the entrance of the park that seems to have reasonable rates and is in a great location and looks pretty nice whenever I've been near there. We may be trying that in July.
