Busch Gardens and SeaWorld - kids 8, 6, 5

We'll be in Orlando for a week in Feb but are not doing WDW this trip and weren't planning on any parks except for a day at LEGOLAND but Busch Gardens & SeaWorld currently have a $99 ticket special - $99 for a day at each park per person. That seems like a pretty good deal! I'm wondering how those parks would be for kids ages 8, 6 and 5. Thanks!

Never been to BG (still on my to-do list ) but I am a huge fan of SW. Definitely a great park for kids the ages of your children (or for any age, IMHO....its one of those parks that truly has something for everyone, from toddlers to grandmas).

BG Tampa is a great park for these ages, as there is definitely a little something for everyone! There are terrific coasters in a wide variety from the simple kiddie coaster, suspended coaster, LIM launch coaster, etc, even a double wooden. But there are also a safari ride (much smaller/shorter than Disney AK), train, skyride with enclosed cars, Sesame Street area with rides and play area, jungala rope/net climbing area and water play, etc. Plus fun shows, and tigers, orangutans, lions, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, etc. The ice show is generally well liked by all ages, and younger kids enjoy the Madagascar show as well (and so did my 13 and 15 year old kids), as well as the dance shows.
