Bus Transport Question

I really should already know the answer to this...but I don't. I need to get from Downtown Disney to the Disney-MGM Studios. We're staying at Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort. Is there a direct bus route from Downtown Disney to the Disney-MGM Studios; or will we have to make the trip with a "connection" at one of the resort hotels? If it is the latter, I would presume that our best bet would be to go via our hotel--again, Disney's Port Orlean's French Quarter Resort--using the boat(s). Suggestions?

There are no buses to any parks from DTD. You could take a BW bus, back to BW and then take either the boat or walk to MGM from there. If a YC/BC bus came first, you could do the same there.
