Bus Stops

I have looked at several maps and see many bus stops. I think these are all for the internal bus. I was wondering where the bus stops for the parks are. Also, when heading to Epcot is it better to take a direct bus or to take a boat to Contempary and then monorail with transfer at TTC. Thank you for your input

Buses to parks are at the Outpost Depot (near the entrance to the Fort). We usually take a bus TO Epcot and ride the monorail back - it's really just another excuse for us to ride the monorail and look in the Contemporary gift shop - and the kids like the gameroom there too!

Personally, I think it's quicker to take a bus TO Epcot.

Hop an internal bus to the Outpost to get a bus to Epcot or to get to the marina. From the marina, you can get on a boat to the Contemporary or Magic Kingdom. From these stops, you can hop a monorail to ticket and transportation and then to Epcot. No problem if you leave early and pack your patience.

Personally (if possible) I would drive to Epcot. If that's not a possibility then I'd take the bus to Epcot and ride the monorail back to the Contemporary and hop a boat to Ft. Wilderness --if (and only if) you're not going at a crazy busy time, like closing. If you're going at closing - grab a bus - it'll be quicker.

I often found that I was the only, or one of few, passengers on buses leaving the outpost at 7:00 to 7:30 a.m. to make rope drop wherever.

I found it relaxing to take the motor launch back to FW at the end of the night. Be sure to check the time of the last departing transportation for your destination. I got stuck at MK like that one time and an angel dressed like a captain gave me a boat ride home to the Fort.

P.S. That was a solo trip and I went from dawn 'til I closed the last park open. Can't do that on the family trips.
