Bus sharing at All Stars

I've been thinking of switching from POP to All Star Sports for our August trip. DS16 is a huge sports fan, so I think he would really enjoy it. My only concern is the bus situation. Since the resorts share buses, do they get full really quickly? Will we have to wait for several buses to get to/from the park?

When are you going? During peak time, the wait can be quite significant FROM a park to the All Star Resorts. I've seen the lines extend far past the corrals at MK.

Getting to a park should not be a problem. During peak times of the day, buses might be SRO from time to time but I don't think you'll have a problem getting there.

Hmmm. Something to think about. We are going the first week in August, so it will probably still be pretty crowded.

I was there in May... not sure if anything changes during the peak times, but I can say that the whole time I was there the bus picked up at Sports first (then the other 2) and when we left the parks the first drop off was at the Sports.

Not sure if that helps, but just thought I'd mention it :)

Spent 2 weeks at sports in September and only shared a bus once and that was coming back from a park at mid day. Opening and closing times we always had our own buses and queues for all stars buses were much shorter than pop.

Same as PP.
We have been there many Jan/Febs. Only remember sharing a bus a handful of times and those were mid-day/slow times. Never had to wait for a second bus except maybe after fireworks at closing. And there was a second bus close by.

I stay at the values 3x/year and I think the bus sharing issue is WAY overstated. During the slower times of the day, you MAY share a bus. However, I see no difference in that and the moderates which have multiple bus stops. During the busy times of the day, you will likely not share a bus to the parks. I believe DTD buses are almost always shared.

Agreed. In my many stays at the All Stars, each resort had its own bus waaaaaay more often than they shared.

When they do share, the Sports is the first picked up. So you won't have a problem getting a seat.
