We will be at the Poly from 8/10-8/16 and have decided not to rent a car. We're going to use ME for our airport transfers.

We used the buses to get to AK when we were at the Poly 1/16-1/20. The buses only stopped at the GF on the way to AK and CR on the way back. We didn't have much of a wait and the buses were relatively empty. I know August will be much busier than January. What can we expect in terms of using the buses at the Poly to get to AK, DHS, and DTD?

Also, if the bus lines are long or the buses crowded, is it easy to find a taxi at the entrance to AK or DHS or somewhere at DTD?

Are there any resorts that don't share buses with other resorts? I would think that deluxe resorts wouldn't have to share buses, but that isn't the case...at least not for the monorail resorts.

Thanks for your help!!!

You will find pretty much the same thing in August.

The bus to DTD though will stop at the hotels and a water park along the way - that ride is toooooo long in my opinion.

It's very easy to get a taxi at both the Poly (or any hotel) and DTD.

As far as deluxes that don't share my guess would be AKL doesn't share with any hotels.

Thanks for the info! We'll probably opt to take a taxi to DTD. Seems like that ride is a nightmare!
