My wife and I are planning a trip Late May/early June of '16 for the Beach Club. We have stayed at CBR and CSR in the past (which we loved), this will be our first time at a deluxe and Beach Club. We have a 3 year old son and a 7 year daughter, so there will be a lot of resort/down time. That is one of the reasons we chose BC for the amazing pool. With the young ones we will be spending more time at MK then Epcot. I have red horror stories about the bus service going to MK and AK from BC/YC. Is that something to be concerned about or will it be similar to what we experienced with the moderates? which to us seemed very good.

thanks for your help

You can walk or boat to both Epcot and Studios.

well how can that compare to having to riding a bus anywhere. It can't.

now the epcot resorts were pretty bad - it was Dolphin, Swan, Yc, BC, BW - then they would go to the parks. Now YC and BC share - and BW, S&D share.

although during slow times - (lunch and afternoon) sometimes will go back to all 5 resorts sharing.

but since most of the time you are only sharing with YC - then you will probably be fine. That say - for some unknown reason the MK is now the hot property and if most of your time will be spend in the MK - then would definitely go with a MK resort. love blt/cr - especially when the wait for buses, boats, or even the monorail is over an hour - walking back to your resort is pretty great.

The BC bus only shares with the YC, so it is pretty good. We've been staying at the BC since the late 90's and there have been very few times when the bus would share with any of the other three Epcot resorts. The MK bus goes directly to the park from the BC and that takes about 20 minutes.

thanks for the responses - if it just shares with YC, we can handle that. I was just concerned it would go to the other resorts also. Once they release the prices next week, I will play around with some of the other MK resorts and see how the prices compare. we were also considering Wilderness Lodge. Although, being able to walk to Epcot would be wonderful. Even if we just head over there for dinner or to catch a ride. Obviously it would be worth it to upgrade to park hopper tickets....
