I'd walk or take the boat the the boardwalk. If you take the boat walk to the front of the hotel and catch the bus from there...The walk is only about 15mins and if you take a right at the tennis courts (at the parking lot) at the end of the parking lot caddy corner is the bus stop.
Yes, there is a direct bus from Animal Kingdom to the Disney-MGM Studios, and back. It runs about every 15 minutes give or take, and is based out of bus stop # 13 at AK (subject to change, please refer to signage at the park)

I assumed. In another thread you mentioned the TTC to AK, and TTC to MGM busses being on a fixed schedule. But that was because they were going to/from the TTC not because they were park to park busses.

They used to be based out of the TTC hub, and anything out of the TTC hub is on a fixed schedule. However, they're trying to eliminate the TTC hub, so now the actual parks run the buses, hence the dispatching. This is another reason why the WL bus was relocated to the MK.
