Bus from MGM to AK?

Anyone know if there a direct bus from MGM to AK or do we have to go to TTC first?

I'd walk or take the boat the the boardwalk. If you take the boat walk to the front of the hotel and catch the bus from there...The walk is only about 15mins and if you take a right at the tennis courts (at the parking lot) at the end of the parking lot caddy corner is the bus stop.

There is a direct bus from MGM to AK. If memory serves me correctly, it's either bus stop #4 or #5 at MGM.

Yes, there is a direct bus from Animal Kingdom to the Disney-MGM Studios, and back. It runs about every 15 minutes give or take, and is based out of bus stop # 13 at AK (subject to change, please refer to signage at the park)

Oops. Sorry Tyler. I made another mistake. On another thread I had mentioned that Park to Park busses were every 30 minutes.

I guess I can't trust my memory anymore. But I thought I remembered you saying the park to park busses were on a fixed route 30 minute cycle.

LOL... They are flex dispatched just like all other buses.

In addition to that, for AK during park exit, Epcot and Studios will often times send extra buses, and have the near empty AKL buses swing through.

I assumed. In another thread you mentioned the TTC to AK, and TTC to MGM busses being on a fixed schedule. But that was because they were going to/from the TTC not because they were park to park busses.

Fort Wilderness Internal busses, and TTC busses operate via fixed routes.

They used to be based out of the TTC hub, and anything out of the TTC hub is on a fixed schedule. However, they're trying to eliminate the TTC hub, so now the actual parks run the buses, hence the dispatching. This is another reason why the WL bus was relocated to the MK.
