I'm not going to book airfare through Disney because I think I can purchase it cheaper on my own.

I've booked a 3 day land/ 4 day sea package, so when I land at MCO I'll want to go right to Disney.

My question is....do buses run all day long from MCO to Disney, or is it only once or twice a day? If so, does anyone know the times?

Thanks!!!!!!!!

I can't answer your question because we have never used anything but rental cars. However you might get a better response if you posted your question on the transportaion board for WDW.

Buses run throughout the day. At busy times you may have to wait while those ahead of you fill up a couple of buses; we've stood for 20-30 minutes. At slow times, you may have to wait a bit for the bus to fill up before they leave. It's usually pretty efficient, however.

If you have three or more people going, you may want to look into a town car. With three people, you'll pay about the same as you would for the bus service and with four you actually should come out a bit ahead. For more than four you might want to check out a van or a limo. Town cars, vans and limos are priced by the vehicle, whereas the Mears buses are priced by the person. With a town car, van or limo you'll be met at baggage claim by your driver, there's no wait for a vehicle (unless they screw up) and it leaves as soon as your ready.

Kim & Chris -

It sounds like Jestocost already answered your question but I wanted to add a side note. My husband and I took the 7 night Disney cruise in May 2003 as our honeymoon and although we took a towncar to Port Canaveral, we chose the Disney bus to go back to Disney after the cruise. That is a mistake we won't make again. We were on the bus waiting for it to fill up and then the bus went to the airport and every Disney hotel on property. It took us almost 4 hours to get to our destination - a trip by car would've been under an hour. So heed a warning - if you are crunched for time, other means of transportation may be a good idea and cost-effective at that! Have fun cruising!

5/8/03 -- our incredible Disney wedding!
5/10/03 -- our first Disney cruise
2/5/04 -- our next Disney cruise - can't get here soon enough!!!

I'll chime in with the same advice.
On our first Disney cruises, we used to us the DCL buses. We had times at the airport when we had to wait for a couple of buses because it was crowded and a couple of long waits at the port for the bus to fill. Now we use Happy Limo and love being able to choose our own times, especially when our flight schedule is a little tight. We've done 11:30 a.m. flights a couple of times and arrived at MCO with plenty of time to spare by taking a towncar.
