Hi.
I believe the last time we stayed at BWVs, the busses for the parks would first stop at BCVs. Is this still correct?
I'm asking since my mom has a scooter and I remember walking over there in the mornings, to make sure we were able to get on the first bus that came
since she had a scooter.

Thank you.

We were at BCV and it only shared a bus with YC.
Thank you! Another mystery I'll never figure out how I thought I did so LOL but happy not to have to do the walk with my daughter and a double stroller along with my mom and scooter LOL

We were at BCV a week and a half ago, and we definitely shared a bus with Boardwalk. It did start with YC, BC, and then BW was last.

I think that at busy times of day - park opening in particular - BWV has its own bus separate from YC/BC. Later in the day when there aren't so many guests, they share.

It's much better than it used to be, when the route was always Swan, Dolphin, Yacht, Beach, then finally Boardwalk! I remember seeing so many MK buses pass us by at BW in the morning.

oh wow that is terrible! When did Swan and Dolphin share disney buses?

Yacht, Beach & Boardwalk share to Disney Springs only. They do not share to theme parks. Before 10 am, Yacht & Beach have separate park buses. After 10 am, those 2 share. Boardwalk has its own bus to parks.

The exception is if boat service from Studios is shut down due to bad weather, there is 1 bus route for all the Epcot resorts.

Before Covid shut downs all 5 resorts shared to Disney Springs. Boardwalk shared with Swan & Dolphin to theme parks. On reopening after the Covid closures, Disney bus service for S & D was not renewed, although no one knows which company’s decision that was.

Beg to differ in that the week after the week after Easter, the AK bus went to YC, BC, and BW. Can’t say as to the MK bus as we didn’t ride it nor did we bus to HS or Epcot. It wasn’t first thing in the morning, so maybe at some point during the day it changes.

I would guess that it depends on occupancy of the hotels who shares, and when they share. For example, going to MK, if they are all at near 100% capacity, such as Easter, they may all have separate buses. If they are around 75% capacity, they may or may not combine hotels at open and close, but probably would between say 10:00am-afternoon parade and maybe 4:00-just before first evening parade/fireworks. I would guess that it is decided on a weekly or even daily basis, and not broadcast much in advance. It might be BC and YC combined today, and BC and BW combined tomorrow. It is obvious from the responses so far that it does vary widely.

I understand wanting to run the system as efficiently as possible, but I always did think it was unfair for guests in wheelchairs/ECVs at those resorts when the buses were shared. Sometimes there are more than two at the first pick up and the people at stops two and three have to wait a long time as those people fill the spots. Also, once a bus is standing room only, it’s difficult to get a wheelchair/ECV on the bus even if there is a slot available. It’s one reason I do not stay at resorts with multiple bus stops for the parks, such as POR, CSR, and CBR.

Thanks for the clarification. We were there the same week, went to MK but not AK.

I’d lean to BW as YC/BC/BW is a less common share than YC/BC. And YC/BC share at least last week to MK later morning was YC first.

Back in those days, I often walked over to Swan from Boardwalk, as it let me get on the bus first (especially when staying in the croquet lawn rooms)...more than a few times when it was crowded, by the time the bus hit Swan, Dolphin, Yacht, and Beach, there was no room for Boardwalk, so I got a little tinge of pleasure having gamed the system.

Thank you. So I'm not as crazy as I thought.
Ditto. There 2 weeks ago and BWV was one of the 3 stops.
Thank you. I wonder if we should just take the walk over.

I will ask the CM when we check in and see if there is a difference with times of day.

I really don't go to DTD unless I'm at OKW or SSR. We always do RD. I'm just going to ask the CMs, hopefully someone will know LOL

Honestly I didn’t think the ride to DTD was bad even with the stops. BC was the middle stop so we only had one stop after our pickup or before our drop off.

I’m thinking direction matters too. I’ve frequently had BW stops on my buses from BC to a park. But from a park back to BC I believe all parks give BW its own bus stand. It might be right next to the YC/BC one though.

It’s nice that they’re all quick / easy walks between the resorts anyway. Last year I even took a CBR bus leaving AK when it was a long wait for BC. Just got off at the second CBR stop and took the Riviera Skyliner to BC/IG station!

Animal Kingdom also services YC, BC, BW together
