We will be staying at WL in Feb. We chose a room with bunk beds. Our DD is 12, and DS is 14. Our son is very tall, he is 5'8. I thought i read somewhere that the bunk beds are ok if they are not that tall. Also I seen a picture of a young girl laying on the bed, and she looked like she took up the length of the bed. I am wondering whether I should just get to queen beds, instead. can anyone help me, so i have time to change rooms.

We returned Sept. 17 and had the bunks first time and they seems just fine. It was just the wife and I but we tried them and they seemed as long as the queen. The bottom bunk was alittle low with not alot of head room but I'm old and bend that well, but they were comfy. Guess it beats DD and DS sleeping in same bed or DD and Mom and DS and dad shacking up. We thought we had more room the a standard but that not right, just seemed that way. I'ld opt for the bunks, different experience, heck I'm 5'11 and fit fine.

My kids, then ages 12 and 17, were not very happy with the bunk beds. Both of my kids are tall and yes, they did fit on the beds, but the matressses left a lot to be desired, especially since we were in a concierge level room. Also, my son on the top bunk didn't have much room to sit up comfortably. If you could avoid it, I would recommend it. At the time, we had no choice since we wanted adjoining rooms, and that was our only choice. Since then, there have been a number of improvements made in the rooms, so I am hoping that even if you have to stick with the bunk beds, they will be better than those that were there when we stayed (2 years ago).
