Bumped Up

I know that sometimes when you stay off season at HH they will bump up your room from say a studio to a 1 bedroom free of charge is they are able. Does this ever happen at any of the DW resorts?

Nope, not if you are staying on points.

The only way you might get better accomodations than you booked would be if you arrived and your villa was unavailable because of sudden maintenance issues and there wasn't another villa in that same category available. But they might move you to another DVC before they gave you better accomodations.

Occasionally, if you book a short stay on cash, you might get moved to a larger or better accomadation. We had one night on cash in a studio at OKW several years ago at the beginning of our stay at OKW for several nights in a one bedroom on points. They gave us the cash night in a one bedroom and we didn't have to move.
