It's May. Chill.
Remember all the "copy" problems Disney is having this year with things just not being right in their written communication?
You would think though that if they added SDMT back into the mix, they would've looked it over more closely and said ohh BTMRR isn't there either. Then again as a PP mentioned, this is Disney we're talking about sooooo....

On the website Thunder Mountain is now listed as open during the party!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seeing as most people can only ever make one Walt Disney World trip in the course of their lives, I think it's okay to look up and question what stuff will be open and if it's worth the extra money for a special event and be concerned and curious if certain hot ticket items they may never have the chance to ride/see again isn't listed.
But, ya know.
It's a discussion board, we are discussing the possibility of rides being closed that are normally open. People get all worked up over a million things on this board, this is no different.
I have to just say, I can't stand when something is bothering me and someone tells me to "relax, it's no big deal". I always try not to do that to other people because it may be a big deal to them...![]()
Please stop making sense. Next you'll tell me if 99.99% of the park is open but 0.01% isn't that my entire trip won't be ruined. The sky is falling. Oh wait it's just rain. And yes it is still four months away.
Of course it's okay.
People just need to post on a thread to let us know they don't care about what we are posting about on that thread.
Ah internet forums, where would we be without them.
Discussion is ok. But, I do take issue that folks jump to the immediate conclusion that the sky is falling, that Disney is cutting corners, just assuming the worse. And for someone to write the article like it's fact was really irresponsible, in my opinion. Because that gets picked up and spread and before you know it, written as fact all over the place. And we all know how retractions are rarely read when articles are released with incorrect info. The incorrect info sticks, the updated, correct info never makes it out, or reaches even half as many folks. It's a discussion board, we are discussing the possibility of rides being closed that are normally open. It's the running with it as fact that irked me.
I think if they're ready to take your money for the event, it's reasonable to expect their information about the event to be accurate.I don't know what else people were supposed to assume.
The company announces a party and puts on their own website the list of rides that will be open during the party. Two of their BIGGEST rides are left off the list. Why would we just assume it's an error?
I see absolutely nothing wrong with people starting to get antsy about it and it's great people sent emails or called. Now it's fixed. You're welcome.
And I agree with @mom2rtk - perhaps they will get it right next year.
Have fun at the party everyone!
I know they've had limited attractions, but this one stings.
It was always a good time to ride it. Shoot.
