Bummed about the opening dates of the new NEMO stuff!

These dates are wildly different from what I've been seeing. Ya know, no opening dates are set in stone until Disney announces them...so, don't be too sad...rumors can change! :thumbsup2

I am hoping the offical Disney site is correct... this might mean some soft openings for our upcoming trip in a few weeks.... Maybe one of the DIS editors can verifiy for us where they got their info from? :confused3

I'm glad we're catching the opening of the ride, but I'm bummed we'll miss the new show! Hopefully we can catch it in soft opening.... :confused3

We will be ther 11-22 through 11-27 and thought we might see it as well (still holding out hope for the soft open) But the one thing good about this, it just gives even more of a reason for a return trip... ha

We are there from 12/1 - 12/10 so we will be leaving on the day of the ride's opening! that sucks...I hope they do soft openings! :guilty:

I am more worried that the 12/10 opening of the Epcot Nemo ride is going to affect the crowds on 12/10. This was going to be our Epcot day and it sot of has to be because of our scheduling. I hope the park is not mobbed.

On the one hand, there is EE, which opened early. On the other hand, there is the Liberty Square Riverboat - the opening date of which has been pushed back several times...so who knows.
Maybe they are trying to push the official opening closer to the 25th anniversary year of Epcot - 2007 (Epcot's grand opening was in October 1982).

Wow, this just sucks. We are going Dec. 8-16 and I was looking forward to both of the new Nemo attractions. I just heard of the later opening. At first I was told they would be open by the time of my trip, but I guess not. Maybe they'll be done early.

Well I know I shouldn't have just assumed however we are going Nov. 25th- Dec.2nd so when i heard that the new nemo ride was scheduled to open in the fall I figured that would be by the time our trip rolled around. The same with the new Nemo show at AK scheduled for late 2006 but once again I assumed it would be open by the time the Thanksgiving holiday crowds arrived.
So I am bummed to see the dates are set for Dec. 10th and Dec. 30th! :sad2:

Plus I was also dumb enough to tell my DS7 that these new things will be open on our next trip. :rolleyes1

I feel your pain!!! We are also bummed. We were hoping to catch at least one of these two new attractions during our next trip. For us, it will be our last trip for a few years as my children are ready to move onto other types of vacations.

One note to my earlier post... The DIS is reporting "projected" opening dates.... The offical Disney stuff seems to say October for the EPCOT attraction? Guess only time will tell

Golden1, same with us - Dec. 10 is our Epcot day and sort of has to be. Now I'm afraid of crowds. Bummer!
