bumbags essential or not

I find shorts with lots of pockets help a lot, and would never consider a bum bag. Proper shorts like, not some duff sports types, but the smarter ones with pockets on the sides.

That's what I use. Bought a pair while i was over there. It's amazing how much you can carry in the pockets of those shorts. Don't need to carry a bag at all.

You can get on nearly all the rides with your bag yes - though for some you may be better using any nearby locker facility, for the coaster type rides anyway...otherwise your bag may fly off somewhere!

small backpacks are fine on just about all rides, the rides that are quite bumpy will have stowaway departments. There isn't a ride I haven't been able to take my 'telephone directory' sized bag on.

thanks johnny and carol from the fashion slave twins:cheer2: :cheer2: they are primed and ready to hit the shops saturday for what i suspect will be a highly fashionable backpack that is completely useless for carrying bottles and stuff:rolleyes:

:lmao: We had a couple of "waist bags" on our first trip together but after much thought we decided NEVER AGAIN!!:lmao:
DH takes a small walkers backpack with the extra padded straps and waist straps lots of room for the essentials.. you know water bottle, camera, camcorder, batteries, ponchos. We're thinking of buying a smaller for DH for the camera and camcorder, having less to carry is always better:thumbsup2
I take a small handbag usually just for my room key, park tickets, hand sanitizer, money, tissues and sunscreen and a comb.. oh and our ADR numbers.
This usually covers our needs for day to day touring of the parks..any major purchases we can always have sent to our hotel room or pick up from guest services on our way out of the parks:cloud9: .

Personally I can’t bring myself to wear one. Just think they are so unflattering. I carry a little bag which is perfect for my camera, cash and cards and car key.

How about a small across the body bag?? They stay put and you can put your essentials in and keep them handy, great for the rides with lapbars because they are slim:love: the are quite reasonably priced too:love:

After seeing the lengthy queues at the security checkpoints the first morning of our trip at MK, I was certainly glad that I just had big pockets!
