Built in flash

I have a digital camera that I really love. I have not interest in replacing it. It is a Kodak DC4800. I was just wondering if the flash can get weaker and could it be replaced?

I suppose the flash could get weaker with age, as far as replacing it, the cost would be such that you would be better off buying a newer camera...it wouldn't make sense to spend 100 or so to replace the flash and then have something else go wrong with the camera...
