i'm okw member, staying in one bedroom preferred view (not boardwalk view) bwv june 1-6 for my fiist boardwalk stay. i'm 55, quiet, traveling alone, enjoy sitting on balcony, having coffee, don't want lots of activity going on below me.

can you suggest a building/view/floor for me to request for my reservation. i seem to remember that someone had said that there is one building that faces epcot. that sounds nice. i'm not sure how specific i can make my request...i'm thinking ns, top floor, epcot view.

may i have your suggestions. thanks.

With one exception, there really aren't any EPCOT views in the Preferred - Pool/Garden category. The exception is the Village Green area. However, those rooms are probably not the place to be if you "don't want lots of activity going on below me". The Village Green is the area between the BWI/BWV lobby and the boat dock/Boardwalk and in my experience, there is a lot of activity/pedestrian traffic going between the resort rooms and the Boardwalk. It's pretty much constant all day and evening.

Given your preferences, I'd suggest you ask for a room on an upper floor overlooking the quiet pool & canal. These rooms are not close to the elevator which means you won't be subject to lots of hallway traffic. (Noise from the hallways is actually more noticable than noise from outside). Some (not all) of the rooms in that area have a view of the ToT as well as some of the higher level fireworks from Fantasmic. You'll almost certainly have a view of the Swan Hotel (across the canal) and you may see a jogger or two on the pathway along the canal. There is seldom any noise in this area in the early mornings.

Enjoy your trip!

P.S. BWV/BWI is only one "building". The BWI will be to your right as you drive up and BWV to your left. They share the lobby, front desk and other services.

I agree with Carol, a room overlooking the quiet pool would be perfect for you. This is a very nice location, matter of fact after the village green view villas, the quiet pool view villas are my favorite non boardwalk perferred view villas.

thanks for these kind responses and the info. i believe a 'top floor overlooking quiet pool and canal' is exactly what i'm looking for. i'll also check out the website for comments. i'm looking forward to this first bwv trip and my first trip home in five years.
