FYI - Big Lots has the Mr. Potato Head in specail themes also - birthday, back-to-school and Christmas.

Also, at WDW, they have "add-on" packages: Pirate, Cowboy, Christmas, Easter/Halloween. They are so much fun.

What ages do you think this is good to play with? Not only do I want some for myself, but I have two little nephews that this would make great Christmas gifts for. William will be three at Christmas this year...

My DD was 2 yrs old when we got more Disney pieces last summer and she had a great time playing with it.

She is 3 now and plays with it often - making all sorts of faces and princesses. LOL!

I think its fun for any age - at least 2yrs old and above.

Also a lot of the smaller pieces(such as the pricess wand), can fit inside the larger pieces such as the hats.

Also be sure to buy lots of arms here because they are specially made to hold things unlike the ones that come at the store. These arms hold the mickey ice cream bar, autograph book, wands, etc.

We bought a box in Nov. The CM was very good with helping my DD6 and I pack the box. She even squeezed in a teddy bear that my DD had put back saying maybe next time. The box barely closed when I was done and wasn't even close when she stuffed in the teddy bear. It was great for me because for once my DD wasn't whinning and she was rewarded for it. I told her that if she had been whinning about the teddy bear the CM probably wouldn't have been so helpful.

Both of my kids play with the set. My son was only 17 months when we got it but he still tried to make things.

We also bought a box of pony stuff on a trip In Feb. We got 2 ponies, the main street popcorn cart, a boom box, hair ribbons, princess picnic plates and cups, princess rain sets and of course a pink balloon and a pink mickey bar.

For our next trip I was wondering - Does anyone know if you can combine the My Little Pony and Potato parts in one box?

I am really looking forward to doing this My DH will be rolling his eyes at me LOL but my kids will love it. Thing is, we've got three kids - I'm not sure if DD11 will want to use part of her spending money on this but we'll see. I know Mommy does (and I think that DD11 will realize that she can help spend mom's money )

I have 5 kids, and each child got a toy for a souvenir. So since DD was so young - 18 months, I picked out the Mr. PotatoHead for her...er me...er no its was for HER!!!

Just thought I would add... In May they also had a piece of pizza with Mickey shaped pepperonis with the NYC Mr. Potato Head parts.

We recently went to the WOD store in NYC and got a subway map, statue of liberty parts, empire state building glasses, a pizza, a shopping bag, a fire hat and a police hat. I forgot to get new arms though and the pieces don't fit in the standard arms. If anyone could spare a couple of arms (Maybe you got too many?), I would love to paypal you for them!

The pony pieces are in the same store but at the other end. I think it was the princess room. The pink balloon and mickey bar that are in the pony section will fit in the potato hands. The other pieces like the plates and cups are not designed to be held.

I bought a Mr. Potato Head with 12 body parts for $6.99 today at KB Toys. I guess that was a good deal. I will save it and take it on our trip and let our little 2 yr. old pick out more parts. Great info!

I buy potato bodies and parts whenever I see them at yard sales. Someday I'm going to fix up a whole row of them for my window sill.
