I have read many references to using bug spray when we were there 2 years ago in April I don't remember a need for bug spray should I bring it for a trip next week 3/18

i didnt use any when i went last time either. but if you want to just to be safe. they make a sunscreen with bug repellant in it. i think it is by coppertone? i dont know. but it is called bug-n-sun.

have a great trip!! :bounce:

The bugs don't reallly get that bad here until summertime and even then you really only need insect repellant in the evenings when the mosquitoes come out. Next week you should be fine without.

Some Clarification:

1) Inside the parks, biting bugs are seldom a problem.
2) At resorts, biting bugs are an incovenience in Summer.
3) At golf courses, biting bugs can carry you away.

Recommendation:
1) No bug repellent.
2) No bug repellent.
3) Industrial-strength bug repellent.

thanks everyone, I am not a huge bug repellent person. We camp in the woods of NH and don't always use it there even...so I think I will take my chances and pack one less thing. If we play golf it will be at the in laws house so they'll have some, sounds like we won't need it for the parks part of our stay thanks.
