me and my dd were planning where to eat for our next trip. we are doing plaza gardens which is fine but she wants to do restauant des stars. the last time we ate there we had free meal vouchers so didn't have to pay but i was shocked at the time that the drinks were in cans. looking at the price list i noticed that they charge 4.30 for a can of mineral

im normally not this much of a cheapskate but im not paying that much for a can of coke, its ridiculous.

do they offer free jugs of water or can i bring my own drink in?

thanks in advance.

yes there are carafes of water in the centre of the restaurant which you can take to your table, and you get free unlimited hot drinks (or you did when I was last there) from a hot drinks machine also in the centre of the restaurant :).

thanks elaine that solves that problem, no doubt i will find another one soon lol

I am gobsmacked at the price! Think we will be drinking a lot of water lol!

Also your more likely to eat more if your drinking water, as fizzy juice fills you with air, so might aswell fill yourself with food than air!!! (that's my thoughts on buffets anyway )

i agree i would normally only drink water with my meals but when i eat out if im being charged either way i will opt for something else lol.

looking forward to stuffing my face while consuming all the free water i can handle :rotfl2:

When we went to RDS in June the hot drinks machine was coin operated. Think it was €2. Embarrassing as I was trying to use it when a CM pointed it out! Doh!
