just got back from an amazing trip, and have a some prices of a few TS we went to that may help.

We had delicious breakfasts at Tusker House and Crystal Palace @$29.99pp. Crystal Palace lunch is $37.99pp and dinner @ $41.99pp

Had a delicious dinner at Minnies Seasonal Dine at Hollywood and Vine for $47.99pp. Their lobster mac and cheese was to die for as well as the rest of the buffet. A bit pricey but was so worth it. Great fun with the fab 5. Staff were very nice and attentive. Will definitely go again.
Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner at $33ppthe family style platter of Turkey Ham and beef was good but the mac and cheese was just gross. the mac was mushy and swimming in liquid velvetta. May not go there again.

Hollywood Brown Derby: $62.99 or $66.93 w/ tax for adults
$21.99 or $23.36 w/tax for kids

Mama Melrose: $44.99 or $47.80 w/tax for adults
$17.99 or $19.16 2/tax for kids

H&V Holiday Dine Dinner: $53.99 or $57.36 w/tax for adults
$32.99 or $35.13 w/tax for kids

I currently have the H&V booked with the fantasmic package. It's a buffet, so I kind of know what I'm getting for my $$. But I'm considering switching over to Mama Melrose instead, which is menu service. what do you get for $48? Similar to the dinning plan options (app, entrée, dessert and drink)?

Yes, whether OOP or DDP, you get the app, entree, non-alcoholic drink, and the dessert platter to share at MM for the F! pkg.

Can someone explain brunch at 1900 PF. I made a "breakfast" reservation for Wed., 3/16. The choices for times were open - 11:30 (ish). I did not see a brunch option. I want to be sure we will have the full breakfast spread at 10:45 since those are the menu items that appeal to us. When do they serve brunch?

Brunch at 1900 PF typically is served during major holidays. Usually on Sundays. For instance Easter Sunday 3/27/2016 there will be a brunch at 1900 PF. The menu is available at https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/grand-floridian-resort-and-spa/1900-park-fare/menus/brunch/

When reserving on the web if brunch is available it will show where the hours are located under the reservation area like this -

Yes, Fantasmic Package is not part of the TIW discounts.

I wonder why the breakfast price at Cape May is increasing so much in March?

March is considered Spring Break at WDW and prices are usually higher.
I know this because my birthday is March 11 and I always spend the week of my brithday at WDW.
Room prices are higher and meals usually are too.

I snagged an ADR for this Monday (sort of last minute trip) and my daughter LOVES Minnie, but if we go we'll have to miss Fantasmic! I'm not paying $300 for dinner for my family of 6 and missing F! if Minnie and friends won't be there.

The DISUnplugged did a review of the character DINNER at H&V within the last month. My understanding is that dinner is relatively new. The breakfast and lunch is Disney Jr., dinner is Minnie and classic characters.
