Any and all tips and information on driving from the Buffalo area to Disney are greatly appreciated. We are going on March 18, leaving around 1 or 2 in the morning and driving till we cant drive anymore. Then hoping to be at Disney by dinnertime on the 19th.
Myself, my husband and 5 yr old daughter.

Thank you

I'm guessing you'll be going the i-77/i-95 route? You're in for a treat, it's a beautiful drive. If you don't already have AAA, it's worth the investment for the triptiks. They give you all kinds of useful information on construction, tolls, rest stops, etc.

Going through the mountains is fun, and I'll bet DD will be excited about the 2 tunnels through mountains you go through.

My best advice is stop frequently, and stretch out, and get a bit of exercise when you stop, don't just go to the bathroom, get the coffee and get back in the car. A bit of a stretch and brisk walking will make the world of difference to how cramped you end up feeling in the car.

We drove down to WDW from Boston last March.
It was non stop and easier than I thought it would be for the 3 of us; me, my wife and 3 year old daughter. Our thing was to keep driving and stopping only for gas, bathroom breaks and switching drivers every 3-4 hours.
You'll have an easier trip because you don't have to drive through NYC and Washington D.C. areas.

The following is a description of the trip,

By dinner, do you mean lunch or supper? It should be about 18 hours from Buffalo, so, if you're starting @ 1or 2am on the 18, you could, theoretically arrive comfortably by 10:00pm that day. Have you considered starting at 6am, driving until 8pm, then waking up fresh the next morning with only 6 more driving hours ahead of you? You might be less tired.

You may wanna double check beause in all seriousness I know people who have driven from here and it is longer than 18hours.

My bad, I was overestimating how long it takes us to drive to Buffalo. Mapquest says 19 hrs and change. That's not including breaks, of course. So, it could still be done, almost as outline, except it would be a little more than 7 hours to WDW from the overnight place.

When we went to the Space Coast last spring break, we crossed the border the night before and started from Buffalo the next day. We didn't push it, and overnighted in Charlotte, NC. If we hadn't had problems at the hotel the next morning, we would have cruised into Satellite Beach by mid-afternoon. As it was, IIRC, it was around 4ish.
