Buffalo park n fly?

Hi! We are staying at the Quality Inn Airport in Buffalo. We haven't stayed there yet (going Aug 19th), but it was a really good price and right across the street from the airport with shuttle. It is a chain, so should be okay :) We got 10 days parking and 1 night stay for $113.75 US.

We are staying at Days Buffalo on Genesee St. this month. It will be our fifth time in a row there. Our cost including tax comes to $163 for the night plus nineteen days of parking. :)

We're trying out the Peace Bridge Duty Free "Days Hotel Park Before You Fly Package" with a $5 duty free gift certificate, 1 night hotel, breakfast and 10 days parking for $101.24 US taxes included (Sun - Thurs). The Days Inn is on Genesee St. right across from the airport.

We're staying over on August 19th so maybe we'll bump into "MeridaLove" at the Southwest gate the next morning? :wave2:

Hey Cottager!! That would be awesome!! We'll be at the Jetblue Gate (I have no idea if they're close!)

Hi;

We're flying to Orlando on Aug 24th and plan to do 'sleep and fly' on Aug 23rd.

We've heard good things about trinityreservations.com and plan to book with them this time around....

[They currently have 2 hotels available for booking - Staybridge Suites and Holiday Inn]

Thanks,

I've stayed at Staybrige Suites (booked through TrinityReservations.com) a number of times and have always been very, VERY happy with them!!

Great prices, large, clean rooms and complimentary breakfast included. Highly recommended.

We were very happy with trinity res & staybridge last time we used them, so that's who we're going with this trip too. :thumbsup2

We have booked through Trinity Reservations as well and have stayed at both Staybridge Suites and the Holiday Inn. Both were good stays and we have no complaints. This time we are staying at the Days Hotel across from the airport using the Peace Bridge deal as well. It was a better deal than Trinity Reservations this time, so we will see how that goes. I do like that we are across the street from the Airport. We leave on the 19th for WDW and staying over on the 18th.

We did this in July for our vacation to Williamsburg Va. I will just warn you. The elevator has been broken for some time. We dropped our car off on the Friday, and picked it up the following Friday and it was still broken. Only one was working. The hotel itself has gotten some run down in the last few years. We used to stay here all the time for park n fly. I did it this last time to try it again, plus an early morning wake up call. I will not be staying here again.
Just wanted to give you a heads up.

We just got back yesterday and did the Park and Fly Package at Sleep Inn. Cannot say enough about this service. Room was clean, price was great, right across the street from the airport, parked in the economy lot, shuttle was prompt both to and from airport. All in all would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely stay there again.

Hmm....we will be staying there next week. Hopefully the elevators are working. Last time we were there we noticed that our room on the main floor seemed run down....not dirty, just some wear and tear. Otherwise, no problems. :)

Fabulous deal. I hope it's still available when I am ready to book. We usually use Trinity Reservations, but with our flight leaving at 6am in December , I want to be as close to the airport as we can. Even an extra 20 minutes will be a blessing at 4am!

We've stayed at the Days Inn previously. Modest accommodations, but well worth it especially if you have an early morning flight. I noticed parking rates at Buffalo airport seem to be higher now also.

I just booked the Peace Bridge duty Free deal....$89 plus tax including parking. Normally, we just drive in for our flight(generally a mid day or afternoon) and park at the airport but this time we are on the 8am flight. The cost of our parking alone at the airport would be $60 so this is a great deal.

I've heard many good things about this Days Inn. So I'm anxious to give it a try. In the past we have avoided all Days properties.

BTW, you are required to go into the duty free to pick up your confirmation package before you cross the border. They told me you need it to check in at the hotel. I think really it's just a ploy to get you in the store....they give you a $5 coupon so you know a lot of people will want to use it and spend waaaay more than $5.

Thanks for the details! We always stop at the duty free anyway so it shouldn't be a problem. We stayed at the Days Hotel years ago before a cruise. It wasn't bad. Nothing delightful but certainly clean and friendly staff and you can't beat the location.

We are at the Days Buffalo right now. As Greenclan mentioned earlier in the thread, there is still one elevator not in service. Front desk said it's being refurbished and will be ready in maybe a few weeks? Anyways, we just asked for a ground floor room and it was no problem.

Breakfast is great here and our room was clean! :thumbsup2
