Buffalo Chicken Dip

10 oz. pkg Perdue Southwest Chicken Strips (dice)

8 oz. pkg cream cheese (whipped or soft generally easier to work with)

1/2 cup blue cheese salad dressing

1/2 cup Franks red hot sauce

1 cup shredded cheddar

Mix all of the above and then place in baking dish.

bake at 350, 20 to 25 minutes

Serve with celery sticks, carrots, crackers or taco chips

this dip can be reheated in the microwave

We just do

2 cans chicken
2 blocks of cream cheese
Franks wing sauce to taste

If Im making it I top it with cheese, If Scott is making it, the above recipe. No we do not heat ours, we make it for pot lucks so it would be stupid to try to keep it hot the entire time.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
I mostly always used canned chicken, the ones from BJ's. :rotfl::rotfl:

unless I happen to have cooked chicken left over when I make this dip.

Yeah, I'm just messing... I think a lot of people probably do. The texture bothers me.

We use the same recipe...but we arent blue cheese fans so we used Ranch or I bet a mixture of both would be good, I LOVE buffalo chicken dip, my mom found a recipe that you can mix it with noodles and make buffalos chicken mac and cheese :)

LOL, my hubby thinks it smells more like tuna than chicken, LOL
but he still eats the dip:rotfl:

Buffalo Tuna Dip.... sure, why not? ;)

:lmao: I actually make buffalo shrimp dip sometimes because my SIL is a vegetarian. I just use the pre-cooked cocktail shrimp and dice them up really small.

My buffalo chicken dip recipe is:

2 cooked chicken breasts boiled and shredded(I use the frozen individually wrapped ones from BJ's)

1 cup of Blue cheese
1 cup of Frank's Red Hot
1 block of cream cheese

Mix all together with the chicken and then bake for about 30 minutes. Serve with Scoops

I don't use blue cheese dressing, I use ranch instead.

I put all the ingredients in a little crock pot and let it warm that way. Much easier than baking. And yes, I do use canned chicken.

That's the recipe I have...

- chicken
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup hot sauce (I use more)
- 1 package cream cheese
- 1 cup ranch salad dressing
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (I use the chunky blue cheese dressing)

I keep cooked chicken in bags in my freezer, that way I always have some on hand for soups and other quick meals and snacks. :thumbsup2

Also, I have never liked raw celery... but I found that if I cut thin strips I can eat a ton as long as they're coated with this dip. ;)

My family just mentioned this dip last night, so I think I'm going to go fire up the mini-crock pot... :goodvibes

Make sure you put some aside for yourself! By the time you work your way out of the kitchen it will be devoured.:lmao:

Do you guys think leftover turkey would be okay to use?

Not if it's from Thanksgiving!:rotfl2: I think turkey would be fine. I posted earlier that I make it with shrimp sometimes and honestly you can't even tell it's shrimp!
