Who knew?
Just got a coupon and it seems it's cheaper to park at the airport (longterm) then at sunpark??? Could that be right?I always thought off airport was supose to be cheaper....
The airport seems closer ( and safer ).
I got a coupon for $38.00 a week.Off the airport website.
Anyone used this coupon?
Could I get that rate for 2 weeks ( $76.00 ?).
Sunpark ( with their coupon )works out to be around $90.00( $32 first week , plus 2 taxes ,plus $1.50 then $7.12 each day plus taxes)Just want the right info (couldn't get a hold of anyone on the phone at the airport to ask) .
Thought my DIS friends would know what to expect.
If it's over $90 /$100 to park , I'd rather book a park and fly hotel.
What 's the scoop..

We've used the coupon and you can use it for 2 weeks -- we did in October. Figured out at that time that with the coupon it was cheaper for us to park at the airport.

Hope this helps.

I have never seen the coupon you are talking about but read the airport website and it looks pretty cheap. This was on the site

Long-Term A Lot
Status: Open

Long-term A parking is the most economical lot, designed for those making longer trips. Free shuttles run to and from the terminal. Rates are $2/first hour; each additional hour $1, daily maximum $8.75, weekly maximum $40 (tax not included.)

I guess the big question is when is your flight and what time you have to leave to get to your flight. As for us ours is early morning so we don't want to drive at 3am, we would rather sleep :cloud9: and have the hotel get us there. So what we pay for park and fly is worth it. Now if we were leaving later in the day I would really consider having no hotel.

Thanks so much for the info! My flight leaves at 5:45 pm so we'll park and fly at the airport.

we yse long term A .if you get the coupon its $38.00 for the week.qwe never had any trouble and we got 3 to 4 times a year out of buff.

We used the coupon that you print from the airport parking lot website. It was about a year or so ago and we had no problem using it for the entire time we were gone.

I used the printable coupon as well. Last time did the park n fly thing.

where can you get these coupons? Onluy at the airport?

Yes. Just present it when you leave the parking lot. They make you trim off all the excess paper for some reason. :confused3 I've always paid with a credit card. No problem.

Is the preferred long term parking covered? what about the Long Term A?

Trying to decide what to do in December

Long Term A definitely is not covered parking - just used it last week.
Not sure about preferred long term lot though. I did see a covered lot, just not sure if it was the preferred long term lot or not.

What happened to the sunpark website? I tried it (sunpark.com) and my computer says there's an issue with the sercurity certificate on the site. Then I google it and get a bunch of parking reseller sites, and their rate for the sunpark lot is about $40 more than the airport parking. Very weird. We're flying out at noon and can't really stay over since the night before is our curriculum night at the school, so we wouldn't be able to leave the TO area until 8 pm, which didn't seem like a good idea. But then again when paying $70 for parking it may be the better option. :confused3 :confused3
Too much info for this thread, I know. But opinions are welcome, as well as hotel/parking suggestions.
