Right now we have a trip planned for the last week in February. We will be flying out of Buffalo, NY because it is the cheapest price. We'd much rather fly out of Albany but I can't justify paying that much more.
Are we crazy/stupid to fly out of Buffalo in February? We also have a 3-hour drive to Buffalo airport. The closest airport we could leave from and take Southwest is Albany. If we chose Philly it is still a 3 hour drive for us but at least the drive would be further south and not going north to Buffalo. I guess I'm just a little nervous because I know Buffalo is constantly being dumped on with snow. Any reassurances? I guess it's the chance we take flying out of anywhere in the northeast in the middle of winter....
