Has anyone done any trades through BVTC? The documentation I have isn't explicit enough for me to figure out what I would have to trade to say...go to Whistler for five days. Going to Whistler is one of my dreams (yet another reason the US should take over Canada but that's the debate board thread).

Whistler is a beautiful place. Sorry have not used BVTC for an exchange...there does not seem to be a direct point chart - I would call MS and find out what the scoop is

I wonder if you take the II chart and divide by 7 and then mutliple by # of nights

Very expensive to trade into much like the DC. Also at 7 months out, all the best times will be taken up by CI members.

We traded through BVTC for 4 nights at Club Intrawest Mont Tremblant, Quebec last year. Disney does not disclose the point structure for the trades in advance, but will tell you what it will cost if you call.

We traded for a four day stay, in a one bedroom unit, and were very pleased with the stay, as well as the cost. It was definitely more than a one bed at OKW would cost, but it was a 6.5 hour drive vs a 3 hour flight, and we wanted to go to Montreal along the way.

If your trade is for a CI property, remember that if your stay is less than five days, you can't book until 4 months in advance, as opposed to the 7 months that lots of people are not happy with.

Mont Tremblant was the other I could have done. Probably an 8 hour drive for me.
